What is Melt Bloun fabric?
Melt blown is a non-woven fabric made from polymers such as polypropylene. Conventional fabrics are produced by spinning yarn and textile processes. But Melt blown fabric is produced by gluing separate molten polymer fibers to each other mechanically, thermally or chemically. To put it very simply, Melt blown fabric is usually produced by converting polymers into non-woven microfilaments. In this process, with the melt blowing method, two layers of different fabrics are combined and woven in a way. As a result, the fibers are quickly combined with each other during the entanglement and adhesion process. The irregular arrangement of these fibers creates a texture that is the main structure of Melt blown fabric.
